WHO THE F IS LARRY'S HOMEWORK?
Larry's Homework is a four piece Americana/Roots Rock band from Athens, GA started by Stephan Eutsler and Pat Pensyl
Originally formed as an acoustic singer/songwriter duo it didn't take long for then to realize that what they wanted was to transform their songs into the gritty, guitar drenched, garage rock sound they poured into their new album titled "Extended Play", mixed and produced by Athens' own Kevin Sweeney!
On a mission for the full band sound they enlisted Master Bassist Jeff Rieter (The Heap) and Drummer Brian Carey for his "no holds barred" drumming style.
The collaboration resulted in exactly what they wanted...straight forward chords, truthful lyrics, wailing P-90 driven guitars, deep bass lines and drums driving home the message of their "right in your face" lyrics. Now a four piece...they set off to record their debut EP!
Drawing from their influences such as Uncle Tupelo, Social Distortion, Drive By Truckers, Tom Petty, Crazy Horse and Dinosaur Jr they hope to help carry the torch of this style of music!
In short....Larry's Homework is raw, unfiltered, blue-collar, old school Rock and Roll! Buckle Up!
